PVC Cling Film

PVC Cling Film is a plastic film with a low thickness (8 to 12 microns), normally used for sealing food items in containers to keep them fresh over longer periods of time. This film is typically sold in boxes with a razor-cut edge. It clings to many smooth surfaces and can thus remain tight over the opening of a container without the use of adhesives. This film is created using polyvinyl chloride (PVC) which allows for water vapour and oxygen to transmit through it, keeping the food items packed inside fresh and longer lasting. Cling film with low thickness is also available in LLDPE/LDPE material from Al Barakat.
